Use your imagination!

If you own testicles, you’ve probably had the misfortune of having them square-socked — on purpose or by accident. If so, you are well acquainted with the specific, horrific, radiating pain this causes. Hilarious observationally, sure, but not nearly as funny when you’re the one with the drained bag. Well, in the pursuit of more knowledge, two scientists, Edward Carmichael and Herbert Woollard, decided to really dig into the details of what it’s like to get your nuts cracked.

The duo wore, I assume, half-length lab coats and took turns on each other’s testicles in different ways to town. They stretched them, squeezed them, and stacked weights of increasing mass on top, recording how it felt. They were reportedly investigating how the sensation of pain can even be felt in areas outside of direct trauma, but that’s a lot of fancy talk for two nerds whimpering at each other’s nuts in a lab.
