Following in the footsteps of Mughal Emperor Jahangir, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has inaugurated a ‘bubble of hope’ to solve the problems of the people of the province.

The bell has been placed outside Gate No. 1 of the Governor’s House so that disadvantaged people can receive help from the staff of the Governor’s House, The news reported.

The ‘bell of hope’ can be used by injured persons every day from 12:00 midnight to 8:00 am. Such individuals can ring the doorbell for finding solutions to their problems.

Speaking to media people after the inauguration of the “bell of hope,” the governor said the sole purpose of installing the bell was to give those in need an opportunity to file their complaints with the Governor’s House against individuals who did them no justice.

Anyone with an emergency can contact the control room Governor house where his or her complaint would be received by a dedicated officer, he added.

Responding to a question about the ongoing census in the country, he said it was the right of the people of Sindh and that of the capital Karachi to be counted correctly during the census. Any incorrect census of the population would not be tolerated, he insisted.

Tessori explained that he had held more than 28 meetings with Bureau of Statistics officials about the census and asked them to make sure every person in the county was counted.

He said a state-of-the-art computer lab would soon open at the Governor House to train 50,000 youth in information technology.

In response to another question, he said he believed in serving the public without discrimination of religion or language. He added that his sole purpose was to ease the suffering of the common people.

He said he would also lead a rally at the Mazar-e-Quaid on Sunday May 21 to condemn the May 9 violent incidents in the country, pay respect to the Father of the Nation and show solidarity with the armed forces of the country. . He appealed to the people of Karachi to flock to Quaid’s Mausoleum on May 21.
