Blake Lively’s chaotic “It Ends With Us” outfits have divided fans

Blake Vivid has proven herself to be a fashionable dresser over the years – famed as her own stylist, she’s even been dubbed the Queen of the Met Gala. So when footage of her on the set of “It Ends With Us” circulated the internet, fans kind of reacted to Lively’s character, Lily, in an array of eccentric outfits.

Filming for the movie officially kicked off in mid-May, when Lively and Justin Baldoni, who are both directing and starring in the production, were spotted on set in various New Jersey locations. With her freshly dyed red hair, Lively was seen in several quirky ensembles, including a patchwork jacket, baggy red pants and beanie, and oversized plaid outerwear with slouchy sweatpants. During a particularly viral appearance on May 25, she wore a pair of pants over another, sending fans into a frenzy. Paired with a mustard yellow blazer with a striped shirt underneath, she wore patterned low-cut khakis over boxers with a patchwork print.

While Lively’s boho style may make sense for her character, people are mostly confused by Lily’s disheveled, almost scruffy appearance. “I love Blake Lively, but this isn’t Lily Bloom,” wrote one Twitter userwhile another hilariously shared, “Please tell me this is Blake, just on a lunch break or something.” Hopefully, Lily’s wardrobe will be explained when the highly anticipated book adaptation hits theaters, probably in 2024.
