Everyone loves to hate mock drafts. I could do the best I can, in my mind, and still get PEPPERED with comments telling me how awful it is. Often I get the right choices in my final mock and between its publication and the actual design happening as I predicted I will be told how stupid I am for that right choice.

So, in the spirit of making everyone call me stupid, I’m going to utter troll and give you the worst possible fake you’ll ever see.

Yes, that’s right: I make TERRIBLE PICKS. And lest you think this is an outrageous exercise, let’s not forget that the Raiders once took JaMarcus Russell with the first overall pick in a draft featuring Calvin Johnson and Joe Thomas, two can’t-miss prospects who are now Hall of Famers. Jake Locker and Blaine Gabbert were drafted just ahead of JJ Watt (and Locker was also taken ahead of Tyron Smith).

The Eagles drafted Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson…and still went to a Super Bowl despite themselves. Even Bill Belichick took N’Keal Harry instead of Deebo Samuel, AJ Brown or DK Metcalf.

Stop pretending your favorite NFL team is making the right decisions on draft night. NFL teams do stupid things all the time. Join me on a journey of bad decisions!
