A lot has happened on Salman Khan’s end in recent months as the actor is about to lock down his future projects. There has been a lot of chatter on social media about what’s next for him after the release of Diwali 2023, Tiger 3. While his immediate next has not yet been committed to paper, Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that the reunion with Sooraj Barjatya will take place in 2024.Salman Khan And Sooraj Barjatya are definitely making a movie together. but next year it will start. Vishnu Vardhan is the frontrunner for Salman Khan’s next
According to the source, Salman had kept his window open for several filmmakers from October to March. “Salman had asked several filmmakers to come to him with a bound script. On his list of directors, Sooraj Barjatya worked on Prem Ki Shaadi, Sajid Nadiadwala worked on Kick 2 and Karan Johar with the next of Vishnu Vardhan. While Sooraj has already announced the delay in moving on to the second half of 2024, it is far from certain whether Sajid’s film will hit the market in the next two years,” added the source close to the actor.
Karan Johar and Vishnu Vardhan’s next is in first place to become Salman’s next after Tiger 3, though it’s not yet on paper. “Salman, Karan and Vishnu meet every week and things are going in the right direction. Hopefully the project will close in early August and go into production in November this year,” the source added. Sooraj Barjatya’s next is titled Prem Ki Shaadi and the filmmaker aims to have it on the floor by the end of 2024.

“It is an ambitious family drama that shows the adult side of Salman Khan. While the core plot is already locked in, Sooraj Barjatya will begin developing the screenplay in October once Dono hits the big screen. He will need about 4 to 5 months to complete the screenplay and then another 4 months of pre-productions. He plans to shoot the film with Salman over a period of 100 to 120 days. It will kick off once Salman Khan finishes shooting for Tiger vs Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan. Siddharth Anand’s direction will start in March/April 2024 and will be filmed until the end of the year,” the source concludes.
