Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most versatile actors in the industry. He always impresses the audience with his acting chops. Recently, during a virtual meeting, Ranbir was seen interacting with his fans. One of his female fans admitted that she loved his movie Shamshera. Ranbir immediately laughed and then called her a ‘blind fan’.

During the interaction, the fan told the new daddy in town that she loved the movie. To this Ranbir replied, “If you liked Shamshera, then you are a blind fan (laughs).” The fan said she liked the concept and also added that it would have been a big hit if it had been released in the 1990s. Ranbir replied, “Shamshera’s story was a bit dated. It felt like you’ve seen this before, there was nothing new about it. It didn’t work. The audience is king. If they didn’t like it, they’re right.”

Directed by Karan Malhotra, the film also starred Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in major roles. After the film was released in theaters, it received a lot of response from netizens. Sanjay Dutt took to social media and shared a lengthy message about the hatred coming at them.
