Toss Ireland won the coin toss and elected to bowl bangladesh

Ireland captain Paul Stirling decided to bowl first against Bangladesh in the second T20I at Chattogram. The visitors want to better repeat what they did in terms of bowling in the different periods of the innings. Shakib Al Hasan, Stirling’s counterpart, said he didn’t mind batting first, especially after his side went 207-5 in the first T20I.
The visitors are forced to make one change. Fionn Hand plays his first game on tour in place of Craig Young, who Stirling only said is back at the team hotel in Chattogram. The home team goes with the same XI, with the three specialist spinners and three fast bowlers.

Heavy rain fell after the coin toss, despite a weather forecast of little to no rain for the day.

Bangladesh, who have already won the ODI series against Ireland, lead the bilateral T20Is 1-0 after the 22-point victory in the first match on March 27. The third T20I is on March 31 at the same location.
