In its final ruling, a special CBI court called “lack of evidence” in the case. The court has reportedly informed Jiah’s mother’s lawyer, Rabia Khan, that she has the right to appeal the verdict. While speaking to the media, Jiah’s mother said she will move to the Supreme Court and present the evidence there. She was heard saying, “Main ek baat kahungi. Aaj complicity in suicide exterminate hua hai. Lekin the question mark is ‘How did my child die?’ So the cause of death is still pending.” She went on to say that she has maintained from the start that “this is a case of murder.”
