We all have that one colleague who really excels. They like to claim that they ran a project when in fact they barely worked on it. Or they try to smoosh with customers and C-suite employees, only to come across as arrogant and annoying. Such people exist everywhere, but not everyone is as confident in their abilities as this crazy Kevin!
In any case, this man did not escape unscathed. The OP, u/UnlikelyAlternative, writes that after Kevin’s big blunder with some overseas clients, his “delusions of linguistic grandeur” made him a laughing stock. He’ll never regain his credibility after something so stupid.
