Just after Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham’s first wedding anniversary, the family has one more reason to celebrate: Victoria Beckham’s birthday. The fashion designer turned 49 on April 17 and of course her friends and family were quick to post their congratulations on social media, including her husband, David Beckham, who rarely passes up an opportunity to post a little PDA on Instagram .
The former footballer took to the platform to post an adorable flashback of the couple in black and white to commemorate her special day, writing a caption celebrating her inspiring role in the family. This latest old-school photo comes after his Mother’s Day post and Valentine’s Day post, so it looks like David’s been in the mood to reminisce lately!
The Beckham family is known for supporting each other, both in their personal lives (such as couples workouts at the gym) and in their careers, as proven when the family (minus Romeo, who had football commitments) arrived at Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show in March. Despite rumors circulating that Victoria and daughter-in-law Nicola had a falling out after the latter didn’t wear a Victoria Beckham wedding dress last year, the family were all smiles at Victoria’s April 16 pre-birthday celebration.
In addition to loving family posts, Victoria’s fellow Spice Girls sent out their own social media posts, featuring fun clips of old music videos to make us all feel nostalgic. Members of the girl group previously reunited on Geri Horner’s 50th birthday, so we can’t wait to see if they do the same for Victoria’s big 5-0 next year.
