LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) has released the list of ticket holders for the Punjab elections and has formed a committee to deal with objections.

Candidates will submit their tickets to the relevant returning officers today, according to a statement from the PTI.

Separately, a four-person committee has also been formed to deal with objections to ticket distribution, which has always been a problem in the party.

“The committee will decide on the appeals related to the distribution of tickets,” the statement added.

The panel consists of Musaddiq Abbasi, Ijaz Chaudhary, Rai Hassan Nawaz and Aoon Abbas.

It is important to note that the High Councilin its April 4 order, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) ordered the polls to be conducted in Punjab on May 14.

The federal government was also instructed to provide funds and security, but the court’s directives were not implemented due to terrorism threats and scarcity of funds.

The court is hearing the case of the postponement of the elections and has today summoned the leader of the leading political parties.

Here is the list of 297 PTI candidates for the 2023 Punjab election:
