She also said she’s super proud to be celebrating her first Mother’s Day and penned a caption telling how she fell short of “society’s expectation.”
Upasana, who is said to be in her 8th month of pregnancy, is showing off her baby bump with a smile in the photo. She also captioned the post, which reads, “I’m proud to embrace motherhood for all the right reasons.” She also said she’s celebrating her ‘first Mother’s Day.’
Ram Charan and Upasana got married in 2012 and are all set to welcome their newborn after 10 years of being together. The couple leaves no stone unturned in giving their little one a grand welcome. From baby showers and parties to holidays, they have celebrated their baby in every possible way.
Ram Charan and Upasana froze eggs
Recently, Upasana revealed that she and Ram Charan decided to freeze eggs early in their marriage as they both wanted to focus on their careers. Ram and I were called very early in our marriage when it came to storing our eggs. We definitely believed that we needed to focus on our careers at the time for several reasons. Today we are both in a stable place where we can afford to take care of the child with the income we generate ourselves and give our child that lifestyle and stability. We didn’t let anything get in the way of our thoughts and I think that’s something I really respect in our relationship.”
Societal pressure for pregnancy
A few months ago, the star woman also revealed how she couldn’t stand the pressures of society and decided to have a baby only when she was ready. Upasana said: “I am very, very excited and also very proud that I chose to become a mother when we wanted to, not when society wanted it to be. So, ten years after our marriage, we took a call to now to have a child and I think this is the best time because we are both growing, we are both financially secure and we can take care of our children on our own.
