Selena Gomez is reportedly spending time with Zayn Malik

Selena Gomez may have found a new direction in her love life. The “Only Murders in the Building” actor is reportedly spending time with “Pillowtalk” singer Zayn Malik. POPSUGAR has reached out to representatives for Gomez and Malik for comment.

Rumors that Gomez and Malik recently dated together started when a TikTok user said in a March 23 video that her friend, a hostess in NYC, texted her that she had sat the pair together at an unnamed restaurant. She also claimed to have seen Gomez, 30, and Malik, 30, “kiss”. Since then, the TikTok community has been speculating about the “Spring Breakers” actor and former One Direction member, but neither Gomez nor Malik have commented on the matter. In addition, no photos of their reported night out have been shared.

On March 24, a source told Entertainment Tonight, “Selena and Zayn went out at SoHo in New York City around 10:30 p.m. last night. They were holding hands and kissing. Most of the restaurant workers and diner patrons didn’t notice them. It seemed like they were comfortable with each other and it was clear it was a date.”

Gomez was most recently linked to The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart, who she was spotted holding hands with in New York in late January, according to photos obtained by Entertainment Tonight. That romance was seemingly short-lived, though, as Gomez posted a TikTok lip-syncing to the audio in March: “I hate it when girls say, ‘Oh my god, my crush doesn’t even know I exist.’ Girl, my crush doesn’t even exist!” She added in the caption, “Still looking for him lol.”

Malik was previously in a relationship with Gigi Hadid, with whom he shares daughter Khai Hadid Malik. The couple split in the fall of 2021 amid headlines about Malik getting into a fight with Hadid’s mother, Yolanda Hadid.
