Shahid Kapoor on choosing dark films
During the trailer launch event, Shahid Kapoor was asked about the reason behind his back to back opting for dark roles in his projects. The actor known for his chocolate boy looks and romances over the years has shifted over the years to edgy dramas and action-driven roles since Kabir Singh. After playing an angry young man in the movie, he moved to Raj and DK’s Farzi and now he has Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bloody Daddy. That’s why he was questioned about his dark choices, to which the actor joked: ‘I’ve been married for eight years. At home I can’t take the frustration out, so I go up the sets and get it out. Farzi was a warm up and now this (Bloody Daddy).

Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films today announced their partnership for an exciting action thriller starring Shahid Kapoor. The film is directed by renowned Malayalam director Rosshan Andrrews, known for Malayalam blockbusters like Salute and Kayamkulam Kochunni. The plot follows a brilliant but rebellious police officer investigating a high-profile case.
