The U.S. general has declared loneliness an endemic public health problem, saying that widespread loneliness in the U.S. carries health risks as deadly as smoking a dozen cigarettes a day and costs the health industry billions of dollars annually. What to do you think?

‘That’s bad, but it is not worth getting to know someone.”

Amanda Olbermann, spice maker

“Unfortunately, most people can’t afford the cost of life-saving recreational drugs.”

Wilbur Koski, Chief Appraiser

“Oh yes? Would a lonely person eat with his wife’s ashes every night?”

Colby Glasberg, prison locksmith
