Warner Bros. Discovery had a big event earlier today where they showed off all the upcoming movies coming out this year. Among them was part of the DC Studios slate, which included such projects as The Flash, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The Flash is receiving critical acclaim, so naturally there are questions about whether it will have another installment or not, and now director Andy Muschietti has answered them. The first full screening will take place on Tuesday at CinemaCon 2023 in Las Vegas. As promised, this Ezra Miller starrer movie takes you on a space-time journey with several beloved DC characters and cast members making appearances.
Will The Flash get a part 2?
Speaking to a tabloid, director Andy said: “We didn’t talk about it. I think we’re all waiting to see how this movie does. Naturally, there is excitement about continuing the story, especially if this movie is successful. Of course there is an architecture in DC that is brewing and being created. And the question is, will this new architecture absorb this story? The beauty of the multiverse is that it is possible. The multiverse allows all of these different worlds to coexist and interact. And so hopefully, yes. We do not know yet. That is the truth.”
Ben Affleck says The Flash is his best work as Batman
Recently, Ben Affleck was in touch with the press during the promotions of his upcoming movie Air, where he revealed some details about The Flash. The actor said, “It’s my best thing I’ve done as Batman! I finally figured out how to play the man! I know I stopped, but I got it now! Like if you’re auditioning and you’re on your way home, you say “No!” I don’t want to give any spoilers away, but there was a scene where I was saved by Wonder Woman during a firestorm with some bad guys.”
