Fans have a new theory regarding the upcoming DC movie The Flash after director Andy Muschietti shared an image on his social media space. Netizens are now speculating whether the film will feature a secret villain in the form of Reverse Flash – all thanks to a skit shared by Muschietti.
Will The Flash contain a secret villain – Reverse Flash?
Recently, Muschietti took to his Instagram space and shared a sketch of a cartoon character whose costume is very similar to The Flash himself. The sketch has an evil grin and also contains a lot of red scribbles and lines. While fans believe this could be Reverse-Flash, there is no official confirmation on this. It’s also unknown if Reverse Flash, if any, will have anything to do with the movie’s villain, Dark Flesh.

Michael Shannon plays General Zod in The Flash
While it’s not clear if The Flash will feature Reverse Flash, one thing has been confirmed and it’s that Man of Steel actor Michael Shannon has been roped in to play the role of General Zod. Recently, the actor shared that he was a bit “confused” when Muschietti asked him to play General Zod. Elaborating on this, he said: “If I remember correctly, I think I died in Man of Steel. Are they sure they have the right man? But then they explained the whole multiverse phenomenon to me, that… I was a little behind the times in that regard. I can’t say I’m a big consumer of this movie genre – not that I have anything against it. If I’m going to watch a movie, chances are it won’t be one of those movies, but I love making them.”
The Flash is all set to hit theaters on June 16, 2023.
