Fans of Disney+’s “Loki” series will have to wait for season two. Marvel head Kevin Feige announced at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2023 that the second season of the hit show starring Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson will head to Disney+ in mid-2023. He also revealed that the season will officially be part of Phase Five of the MCU. On May 16, fans got more details during the Disney Upfronts. The series will be coming to Disney+ in October. “Loki” season 2 plot
Hiddleston gave some clues to the plot of season two at MCM Comic-Con in London in 2021. He said, “Okay, so look, we can’t say anything unfortunately, but at the end of episode six, Loki will be back to [the] TVA. He’s pretty traumatized, he’s pretty emotional, and he tries to explain what’s happening to Mobius, but Mobius doesn’t recognize him. And then he turns and looks at the statue of the Timekeepers, but it’s not a statue of the Timekeepers, it’s someone else’s statue. And I think we’ll start from there.”
“Loki” season 2 cast
Hiddleston will return as Loki with Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie. Gugu Mbatha-Raw plays Ravonna Renslayer and Wilson plays Mobius. Tara Strong continues to voice Miss Minutes. Rafael Casal also joins the cast, and Eugene Cordero, who plays TVA employee Casey, has been bumped into a series regular for season two. The closing credits scene of “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” foreshadowed that Jonathan Majors will star in the new season as Kang the Conqueror.
At D23 in September 2023, Marvel announced that Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan is joining the cast for season two.
