Ever since reports surfaced about the third installment in the making, fans have been eagerly awaiting more information on this highly anticipated project. The first installment headlined by Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Mallika Sherawat was released in 2007, and the sequel was revealed eight years later, where John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, Dimple Kapadia and Naseeruddin Shah led the cast . . Now Pinkvilla has an exciting update on Welcome 3.
We have learned that the makers of Miss India 2023 are considering Nandini Gupta to play one of the leading ladies in the film. “The Welcome series is a big franchise and the creators play a pivotal role for Nandini Gupta in part three. Initial talks with her team have already started, but it will be some time before everything is in writing as the makers are currently focusing on Hera Pheri 3. Welcome 3 is not far in the future though and the casting process and other pre-production work it has already started,” reports a source close to the development.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal were officially reunited in February this year to shoot the Hera Pheri 3 special promo. Pinkvilla had also previously exclusively reported that Hera Pheri 3 will begin with the climax of Phir Hera Pheri, after which the story will take a giant leap and take the three central characters on an international journey of guns and mafia. Firoz Nadiadwala also makes Awara Pagal Deewana 2.
