After a groundbreaking indictment in New York, can the former US president beat the charges against him?
The New York District Attorney alleged that in 2016 former US President Donald Trump falsified his business records to conceal hush money payments to an adult film star, Stormy Daniels.
The crux of the lawsuit is whether this amounts to a “conspiracy to undermine the integrity of the 2016 presidential election,” prosecutors said. Trump has denied all allegations.
Host Steve Clemons asks Yahoo News investigative reporter Michael Isikoff and Republican strategist Michael Ricci about the possible scenarios for Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, and how it will affect the US political landscape.
