Deepak Tijori files FIR against co-producer Mohan Nadar for cheating Rs 2.6 crore

Actor and director Deepak Tijori filed a complaint against producer Mohan Gopal Nadar at Amboli Police Station in Mumbai. He has alleged that he was cheated out of Rs 2.6 crores by Mohan. Tijori reportedly filed an FIR on March 15. The case has been registered by the Mumbai Police and Mohan has been booked under sections 420 (deceit and dishonesty leading to delivery of property) and 406 (criminal breach of trust) of the IPC.

According to ANI, the Mumbai Police has already started investigating the case. Deepak told the Mumbai police that Mohan joined him to co-produce a thriller called Tipppsy. The actor would direct the project. He told police the film would be shot in London in 2019. Deepak entrusted Nadar with Rs 2 crores and 60 lakhs. But he said the movie wasn’t finished in time. After asking for a refund of the money, Mohan continued to evade him by giving excuses. Deepak also said that the checks provided by Mohan kept bouncing and so he decided to file a complaint against him. Amboli’s officer said they have launched the investigation and no arrests have been made so far.

The actor alleged that he was cheated out of Rs 2.6 cr by co-producer Mohan Nadar, who joined him to make a . ​to produce thriller film. Case has registered under sec 420 & 406 of IPC & probe initiated: Mumbai Police.”

Deepak has worked in several hit films such as Aashiqui, Khiladi, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Anjaam, Ghulam, Baadshah and others.
