Carlton and Diamond’s relationship was the first to end. After Carlton revealed that he had dated both men and women in the past, the couple had some serious issues and eventually a devastating on-screen fight ended with them breaking up and leaving the show. While they’re clearly not together anymore, Diamond told Entertainment Weekly that they were friends ahead of the reunion episode, which Carlton didn’t attend.
“Carlton and I were able to form a friendship after the show. But it took me a very long time. Carlton contacted me several times. I wasn’t ready. I had to put that behind me and remind myself that he was a good person despite what happened on the show and he didn’t hold a grudge I finally contacted him after he made several attempts to contact me and it started as small talk like happy birthday or happy new year or hope all is well. He apologized. So I finally reached out to him and we’ve had talks,” Diamond revealed to the outlet in February 2020.
While Diamond initially said the two were on good terms, she told TMZ in April 2020 that she blocked her ex on social media, saying, “The reason why I blocked Carlton was the fact that Carlton was very mean after the reunion spoke to me on all of his social media pages, and I felt that was, wow, that really shocked me. I thought we were on good terms…after that apology I never heard from him again.”
As of 2023, it appears that the two are no longer in contact and do not follow each other on social media.
